Anderson to co-chair Referendum Council

Indigenous leader Pat Anderson (L) will replace Pat Dodson as co-chair of the Referendum Council. (AAP)

Indigenous leader Pat Anderson will take over the work of Pat Dodson as co-chair of the Referendum Council consulting on constitutional recognition.

Mr Dodson resigned from the council after being endorsed by Labor for a vacant West Australian seat in the Senate.

Ms Anderson has been a member of the council since it was formed and will work alongside Mark Leibler.
