When vegetarian and former chef, Emma Galloway discovered her children were lactose and gluten-intolerant, she set about changing her family's diet; she combined her professional know-how with fresh and seasonal produce to keep her family eating happily and healthily. Here is a recipe for her creamy pink strawberry smoothie to kick start your day and a celeriac, beet salad with lemon, chilli and mint that is all kinds of fresh.

Fast, fresh and seductive eats, Cle-ann taps into her Greek heritage to create fun and beautiful menus. Her partner (and photographer) is her cooking-inspiration and the reason all her recipes are gluten-free (he's coeliac). Together they are a creative GF team and a few tantalising highlights include her stuffed jalapenos with chorizo crumbs as well as her polenta and sumac crusted chicken with minted yoghurt, yum!

Rowie Dillon is undoubtedly Australia's gluten-free goddess. We have Rowie's gut feeling to thank for her lust-have range of take-home cakes and treats such as her recipe for a divine blueberry, maple and marscapone tart and sweet cocoa sponge cakes to feel the baking love.

Lindsey S. Love had food sensitivities from an early age, but never really looked into them. As she got older, they worsened and after taking nutritional advice she began to reconsider what she was putting into her body. She gave up gluten and dairy from her diet and started this blog to trace and share her experiences, secrets and lessons along the way. She shares a homemade superfood granola recipe and a fennel-roasted carrot salad that is super simple, super tasty and full of super sweet caramelised shallots.

Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, Renee Byrd shares vibrant vegetarian recipes on her blog, many of them also gluten-free, dairy-free or made without refined sugar. Her recipes reflect the eating style she's arrived at by dealing with some of her own health issues and she writes about her cooking and eating experiences in a happy and joyful way showcasing a life of living well and fully. A pea and broccoli soup is as flavourful as it is bright and also in our sights are her hemp, tahini date-caramel bars (perfect lunchbox treats).
