Cotton candy ice cream cones will be your new dessert crush

The newest dessert trend, cotton candy ice cream cones, are taking the food world by storm.

When you hear the words "food trend" and "ice cream" together, you know good things are in store.

And, boy, are they! What started with Sydney's Aqua S' signature soft serve cones (hello sea salt!) surrounded by a froufrou fairy floss tutu has now gone global.
London-based dessert cafe Milk Train has a similar delicious treat - although they call it cotton candy over there.
Milk Train cafe offers three flavours of ice cream - vanilla, matcha, and hojicha (the last two are green tea flavours). Then the waffle cone's rim is lined with a circle of fluffy fairy floss.
New York cafes have embraced the cotton candy cone wholeheartedly, too.
If you're suffering from major food envy, don't! 'Cause in the event you can't make it to Sydney or Melbourne (Acqua S has opened an ice-creamery there too, now), London or New York, a clever blog called The Baker's Confection has a similar DIY recipe you can try at home.
