Nusret Gokce is the co-owner of a steakhouse in Istanbul. But that’s not why millions across the globe are avidly watching his moves.

He is also the subject of a number of videos in which he slices and dramatically seasons different cuts of meat in a fashion that can only be described as sensual.

A flick of the knife, twists of the fingers, a flourish of salt from a few metres in the air and you’ve got the reason #saltbae's action is trending across the globe.
Gokce boasts a cool 1.1 million Instagram followers and has enjoyed a certain level of notoriety in Turkey for a while.
