Christmas tree cheeses

These little snacks are so simple but make a big impact. I've used Laughing Cow cheese here but you can use any soft cheese like Brie or Port Salut, as long as it holds its shape and will adhere to the dill.

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces processed triangle cheese
  • 1 bunch dill fronds, chopped (about 1/3 cup)
  • 1 tsp dried garlic flakes
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 8 pretzel sticks

Instructions

  1. On a small plate place chopped dill, chilli and garlic flakes. toss to combine.
  2. Unwrap or slice a segment of cheese, then gently roll it in the dill mix. Press gently to coat in an even layer, then gently dust off any excess and set aside. Repeat until all the cheese is coated.
  3. For the trunk, gently push the pretzel stick into the bottom of the cheese. You may need to chop or break the sticks so they aren't too long.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to a day ahead until ready to serve.
