Fairfield City Council mayoral race in full swing

The Fairfield City Council elections will be held on 14 September. NSW council elections are held every four years. Basim Shamaon is running for mayor of Fairfield, focusing on infrastructure and homelessness. The other mayoral candidate is the current mayor, Frank Carbone, emphasising his passion for the city and commitment to further achievements beyond his previous accomplishments. Both seek to improve Fairfield.
