Chinese Australian, Jim Xiao, received an evauation letter from the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But he chose to stay in Wuhan after a serious consideration.

"I have considered seriously if I should go back to Australia through the evacuation plan. But the virus infection rates in the evacuation plans of other countries was about 1.4% which I think is a little bit high, while the destination of Australian evacuation plan, Christmas Island, is short of medical services."
