Annually, Filipinos in western Sydney attend the nine-day 'Simbang Gabi' at Bossley Park, culminating it in a festive 'Kakanin Festival' on December 24.

"Apart from being a huge part of many Filipinos' faith, going to every Simbang Gabi has become an important part of the Filipino culture," says Fr Nards Mercene of Filipino Chaplaincy Archdiocese of Sydney.
