Philippines’ top surfer John Mark Tokong is in Australia this May for his first-ever World Surf League Challenger series competition.
Popularly known as ‘Marama’ Tokong in the surfing world, the Siargao born surfer is ranked number 4 in Asia.
The first Filipino to qualify for the WSL Challenger series, Tokong hopes to reach the Championship Tour, the ultimate dream for most professional surfers.
