Some prefer dogs or cats, others would like to keep a crocodile as a pet.
Crocodile lovers in the Northern Territory are able to adopt a crocodile as a pet again this year. This was banned in April 2024, but the new government has lifted the ban. It was part of the former Labor government's plan to manage the crocodile population. This plan had sparked discussion in the Northern Territory elections in August.
