Greek tennis stars in Sydney for United Cup

Greek tennis stars landed in Australia ahead of United Cup. The tournament is taking place between Sydney and Perth with the Greek team competing in Sydney.

United Cup is set to take place in Sydney and Perth, with the first serve on December 29, while the final will be held on January 7 in Sydney.

Earlier this morning, the Greek tennis team was presented at a press conference hosted at the Sydney Olympic Stadium tennis facilities.

The men's team comprises Stefanos Tsitsipas(ATP Ranking 6), Stefanos Sakellaridis(403) and Petros Tsitsipas(97 in doubles).

Respectively, the women’s team comprises Maria Sakkari(9), Despina Papamichail(222) and Valentini Grammatikopoulou(220 singles - 115 doubles)

The first match for the Greek team will take place this coming Tuesday, January 2, facing Chile at Ken Rosewall Arena.
