C31 and C44 granted last-minute reprieve

Community television stations Channel 31 in Melbourne and Channel 44 in Adelaide have been handed a last-minute reprieve by the Federal Government.

Yesterday night Communications Minister Paul Fletcher announced the stations would be permitted to continue on-air for another year.
