(English Interview) Edan Nissan, a 34-year-old Australian-Israeli has lived in Israel for over 10 years after making Aliyah as a Boger of Hashomer Hatzair. Edan lives in Kiryat Ono outside of Tel Aviv with his wife.

Edan tells SBS Hebrew about what it is like to be an Australian-Israeli living in Israel during one of the most tragic periods ever. Personally knowing young people kidnapped or killed by Hamas, and being subjected to rocket attacks. Deciding to stay in Israel and not to flee to Australia, as an act of defiance and loyalty to his many friends.
