Hours after Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese joined the prime ministers of Canada and New Zealand in co-signing a balanced statement calling for a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, Australia voted in favour of a UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire that did not mention Hamas.
