United We Stand - Reactions from Israelis around the world to the Israeli response to the Hamas Atrocities

Tal Edery is a young Israeli woman who lives and works in Vancouver, Canada. We talked to Tal in order to learn more about the similarities and differences between the precarious situations of the Canadian and Australian Jewish communities following the inhuman atrocities carried out by Hamas in the South of Israel.

Tal’s courageous approach is a variation on Churchill’s famous quote: “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” She tells us that the young Israelis who live in Vancouver have swiftly organised in order to support each other, and that the authorities are very helpful and make sure that the community is protected.

Tal strongly advises the Jewish communities in Canada, Australia and elsewhere to act with the same fearless attitude.
