Hours before the Asia Cup final between India and Bangladesh, a morphed picture of Bangladeshi cricketer Taskin Ahmed carrying the severed head of Indian skipper MS Dhoni has gone viral on social media.

The Asia Cup 2016 final between the two teams is to be played on Sunday evening at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Before the match, here's what the Team Director, Ravi Shashtri had to say about the image controversy.

The picture was reportedly posted by Bangladeshi fans after their team defeated Pakistan to reach the finals in the Asia Cup against India.
A similar controversy had erupted during 2015 ODI series between India and Bangladesh when a Bangladeshi newspaper published a picture of half-shaved heads of the Indian players, after they lost the series.

The quarter final game of India vs Bangladesh in the 2015 cricket world cup too ran into a controversy after the Bangladesh Cricket Authorities cried foul at some umpiring decisions.
