Finding a job has never been an easy task. Not even for India’s leading technology education institute, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) graduate.

But one IIT graduate – Akaash Neeraj Mittal came up with a unique idea. He tried to ‘sell’ himself as a product manager for a position with India’s leading e-commerce site – Flipkart on their portal.

"When you are a 6-pointer and competing with best of the best minds of the country, you know how hard it is to land a job," he told Indiatimes.
Using the template that is used to advertise a product, he listed the features of his resume in the Flipkart format to woo the employers at Flipkart. Listing himself for Rs 27,60,200/- per annum, he projected himself as a creative, entrepreneurial in nature who possesses strong analytical and quantitative skills.

This ‘out-of-the-box’ idea didn’t land him the job of product manager at Flipkart but it did become headlines in the country.
