Since 2021, Professor Veena Sahajwalla has been the head of the Micro Recycling Research Hub at the Australian Research Council and the University of New South Wales.
She stated, "While we all appreciate the importance of recycling, leveraging scientific solutions to create alternative materials truly fulfills our goal."

She added that these solutions will not only introduce new technologies but also pave the way for advancements in manufacturing industries, create employment opportunities, and have a positive impact on the environment.
