Padma Shri awardee popular Indian singer Malini Awasthi is famous worldwide for her folk songs. During her visit to Melbourne on the occasion of 'Chhath Puja', in conversation with SBS Hindi, while humming some songs, she spoke about the importance of folk songs and the ‘folk song’ that changed her thinking and singing.
