Survey finds mental disorders affect over 8 million Australians

Mental disorders account for the most commonly diagnosed illnesses in Australia, with more than 8 million Australians having experienced one at some point in time. It's the first time in more than a decade that the Australian Bureau of Statistics has released vital statistics about how many Australians are suffering from mental illnesses and how many are receiving help.
