Every year the Indonesian Students Association (PPIA) in Melbourne holds Alun-Alun event. This year it was held on the 28th of Sep at the Indonesian Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia in Melbourne. Through Alun-Alun event the students forge a better and strong relationship not only among themselves but also with a wider Indonesian diaspora community.


The Program Manager of Alun-Alun, Sherilyn Desta Suria talked to SBS Indonesian Program about this year Alun-Alun’s theme and success. She herself as an international student was happy to be able to give something back to the community.
