Historical Walk - Indonesians celebrate Australia Day 2025

To celebrate Australia Day 2025, the Indonesian community organised a “Historical Walk”, designed to reflect on, honour and celebrate Australia's rich history.

The Historical Walk is organised by Perhimpunan Indonesia in collaboration with IAFA of NSW Inc., GPIA Inc. and IDN-NSW Inc. and the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.

SBS Indonesia interviewed Ms. Epy Djulianti and Mr. Salut Muhidin, event organisers to discuss the significance of this event, its purpose, and the meaning of Australia Day for Indonesians in Australia.
