Indonesian palaces in modern era: Are they just history?

Once had a big role in Indonesia, how does the palaces survive in modern days?


Indonesia had many palaces in the past.

Unfortunately, the majority of their existence has disappeared, one of which is due to the palace's inability to survive amidst changing times.

One that has a big role in Indonesia is the Solo Palace, which still survives today even though it has slowly lost its influence.

Dr Purwadi M Hum, lecturer on Javanese culture at the Javanese Language Study Program, Yogyakarta State University, explained about how the palace was in the past, its influence on society and how it is lost today One of them is due of the government's indifference.
