Indonesian Tourism Minister, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno visited Australia. Sandi has a mission to promote five super priority destinations in Indonesia, namely Borobudur, Lake Toba, Mandalika, Labuan Bajo and Likupang.

Of the five super priority destinations, namely Borobudur, Lake Toba, Mandalika, Labuan Bajo and Likupang, perhaps Likupang is the least heard.

Actually Likupang has been known for a long time, but the more famous of course is Bunaken, and because of that, more tourists come to Bunaken than to Likupang.
Therefore Likupang has been developed intensively since around 2018.

To find out more about Likupang, Nurhadi Sucahyo, SBS correspondent, spoke with Mr. Jouvendi Rompis, Chairman of the Indonesian Travel Association (Astindo) of North Sulawesi.

In this interview, Mr. Jouvendi will detail the advantages of Likupang. You will not regret if you include this destination in your list to be visited in the holiday season.
