The Minahasan community, KAWANUA in Melbourne created the Smart Village Program for local Minahasan residents.

Dilail Abimanyu spoke with Jeffry Liando from Kawanua Melbourne to discuss the program.

The Smart Village Program has three programs, namely Digital Village, Cultural Village, and Tourism Village.

Jeffry said that the initial stage of the Smart Village Program is Digital Village, where the activities carried out are the installation of a village information system.

In the future, Jeffry hopes that with this Smart Village Program, residents in Minahasa will be able to map the land so that it can later be used to develop cultural and tourism values.
