During this pandemic when the general guideline is for people to stay and work at home, keeping food fresh for longer periods is invaluable. We don’t need to go to shops as often and we can help reduce food waste.


There are ways we can prepare foods and maximise the effectiveness of our refrigerators.  Rianita Pramitasari, a lecturer in food technology at Atma Jaya Indonesian Catholic University, describes some very practical ways of keeping foodstuffs fresh for longer.
