For the people of NTT, consuming sorghum is no longer familiar. Almost every farmer has cultivated and cultivated sorghum.

East Nusa Tenggara has long had problems with food supply.
Corn is one of the mainstays, apart from rice.
But due to the very dry climate, where rainfall per year is very low, both plants are often problematic.

At least in the past decade, sorghum crops were developed, as the main food alternative.

One of the first events of planting sorghum in NTT, was Yosep Afon Hera, from the Likotuden Herin Lela Sorghum Farmer Group in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Mr. Yosep raised his experience of growing sorghum, which is also a way out of food safety and increase the income of farmers.
