On the 28th of September 2022, the 22.1 cents per litre petrol and diesel excise will return to normal to become 44.2 cents per litre. Compounds with the high price of energy this return to normal petrol excise will jack up our cost of living. Should the government keep the reduced petrol excise for another six months for example?


Prof Daniel Prajogo is a Professor of Management at Monash University. He explains to Sri Dean how the disruptive global supply chain plays a role in contributing the increase of petrol price. Which in return also causing the rise of the cost business operation and cost of living.
