The Mystery of the Dead Elephants Without Heads in Aceh

A body of an elephant was found dead in Aceh Timur district, Nangroe Aceh Darussalam and its head was missing, indicating an attempt was made to retrieve its tusk.

Such cases are rare.

Nurhadi Sucahyo's interviewed with the Director of Walhi Aceh, Muhammad Nur about his presentation regarding the case in the history of the relationship between the Acehnese people and elephants, which turned out to be quite good in the past.
