Korean associations, self-employed and religious groups across Australia are launching the active campaigns to help international students and working holiday visa holders in Australia.

The Korean Society of Queensland, which is actively involved in helping young Korean students in Australia, offers free lunch boxes to 30 people a day from April 15 to May 11 as COVID-19 continues to spread.

The Korean Society of Queensland said in their Facebook “We know it's difficult time for the residents in Australia, but I want to give a small but precious helping hand to young international students who are in a more difficult place than us, so We are planning to organize a fund-raising event and a donation event.”
In Melbourne, a ‘free lunch box delivery’ service is under way to help young people in need.

Pastor Baek Joon-ho, who serves as chairman of the Working Holiday Association in Victoria, and the Melbourne Somang Church, which delivered 50 side dishes to international students and working holiday visa holders on April 8, are receiving applications to deliver lunch boxes on April 15.

In addition, more than $1,700 in donations raised by April 4 will be delivered to three struggling students as well.
In Canberra, the ‘Warm Meal Project’ is underway and COVID19 student Aid and emergency response council will serve a warm meal from 13 April to 18 April.
