Sydney on high alert as Potts Point coronavirus cluster grows, student tests positive in Parramatta

A new pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic has been set up in Sydney's east due to fears about the possibility of further spread from a Potts Point cluster.

A number of new pop-up coronavirus testing clinics have been established as an inner-city Sydney cluster continues to grow, while a primary school in Western Sydney has closed after a student tested positive to the virus. 

Three new cases were linked to the Potts Point cluster on Tuesday evening, two of which visited The Apollo restaurant in Potts Point on 22 Wednesday and then the Cruising Yacht Club Australia in Rushcutters Bay on 23, 24, and 26 July.
