Victoria Government announced it is reopening its business Innovation and Investment Program from 18 February 2019, following a short pause.
Expression of Interest (EOI) process will be introduced for Subclass 188(Business Innovation Stream/ Investor Stream/ Entrepreneur Stream) and Subclass 132 (Business Talent (Permanent) visa – Significant Business History stream/ Venture Capital Entrepreneur stream)
“Applicants will now need to submit an EOI for the relevant visa subclass in the Department of Home Affairs' SkillSelect and indicate their interest for the Victorian nomination,” the statement on the website reads.
Mow the applicants do not need to notify Victoria’s Skilled & Business Migration Program that they have submitted an EOI.
Those who submitted EOIs before 18 February 2019 in the SkillSelect system will need to resubmit to be considered for Victorian nomination.
Victoria has begun issuing invitations and assessing nomination applications for the 188 - Significant Investor Stream on 18 February. There are currently no process changes to nomination applications for this visa type.
