Although travel opportunities are limited, there is still possibility for dual nationals, the Macedonian Consul General in Melbourne, Sanja Zografska-Krsteska, told SBS Macedonian. She says those who need to leave Australia should contact the Australian Border Force Commissioner, explaining the reasons for their trip. For such an exception, says Ms. Zografska-Krsteska, they can also apply online, through the Department of Home Affairs website where they should explain the reasons for their trip and to support that with evidence and documents. Providing health care to elderly parents living in the homeland or to other family members may be one of the reasons for necessary travel outside Australia.
