Following the tightening of government restrictions in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus, the Macedonian Orthodox Youth of Australia, MOYA, along with many other organizations, immediately sent out messages of support and understanding to their Orthodox members. Reverend Gavril from the Macedonian Orthodox Monastery of St. Clement of Ohrid, Kinglake, who, as a monk, is no stranger to self-isolation, says, whilst collective worshipping is temporarily banned, people can maintain their Orthodox way of life within the sanctity of the second church, their home.
