Teachers are being respected and acclaimed by one and all in our culture. So as the teaching job which offers knowledge and moral lessons. This is the reason why all over the world keep aside a special day for their teachers. While Teachers Day is celebrated on the 5th of September in India, Australia celebrates this on the last Friday of October. It is believed that teaching was a profession that attracted Malayalee migrants to Australia before nursing and other skilled professions.
