Among the Nepali-speaking candidates contesting the local council elections in Victoria this October, Ananta Raj Poudel is running for the councillor position from Mount Ridley Ward under Hume City Council. Running as independent candidates, Poudel and other candidates from the same area, Raj Mann and Marcus Harrington, spoke to SBS Nepali about their key election promises.
