Melbourne's Nepali women to lead "walk for welfare"

More than twenty Nepali women in Victoria are set to lead a "Walk for welfare" event on Sunday 24th June at Princess Park in Carlton North. The event is part of a nationwide initiative organised by Non residential Nepalese Association's Australia branch. Deepa Rai is one of the organizers of the event and she says "their aim to raise awareness around issues of mental health, domestic violence, harassment, isolation and other issues faced by members of Victoria's Nepali community". She spoke to SBS Nepali.
