In Australia, every week one woman, on average, is murdered by her current or former partner. According to the National Homicide Monitoring Program Report, out of 213 cases of deaths due to domestic violence, nearly two-third or 138 victims were female.

National Homicide Monitoring Program Report was published in 2017 which has collected the homicide records from 2012 to 2014.

Violence has no borders some say, and we asked Pratigya Adhikari, coordinator of NRNA Women Forum - Narinikunja Australia about the condition of Nepali women in the country.
