Kashyap Dhital, a 13-year-old from Sunshine Coast, Queensland, has recently published his second book, 'The Dragons of Magnetia.' Reflecting on his debut work, 'The Explorer's Diary,' released in 2022, Kashyap, currently studying in eighth grade, emphasises the crucial role of a love for reading in shaping his writing skills. His father, Atul Dhital, an emergency doctor, fondly recalls the time when he first witnessed nine-year-old Kashyap diligently working on his initial book, expressing amazement at his literary prowess. Kashyap and Atul Dhital spoke to SBS Nepali on topics such as the affinity for literature, the process of writing books, and the importance of reading.
