The Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) is set to have a new home in Western Sydney after the federal government announced funding to expand the multicultural broadcaster's production facilities. The government will provide an upfront investment of $5.9 million to enable SBS to start work on finding a site to expand its news and current affairs, multilingual audio services and screen production.
