One in three women has experienced physical or sexual violence at some point in their lives.


Family violence can affect anybody, but migrant women face additional barriers when they need to get help. For a long time, family or domestic violence was considered to be a personal issue, not a society issue. But the statistics are clear; a lot of women are victims of violence at the hands of a family member.
