The 2019 conference explored vernacular architectural traditions of Iran from earliest and Islamic periods to contemporary settings including related fields in Visual Art, Design, World Heritage and Gardens. Keynote speakers included Professor Miles Lewis (University of Melbourne) – Associate Professor Javier Alvarez-Mon (Macquarie University), Dr Ali Mozaffari (Deakin University).
