Police have been told a couple were pushing prams with two young infants at the centre on Rosamond Road just before 5.30pm on Sunday 3 December.

It is believed the male offender pushed the pram in front of the male victim and whilst the victim was distracted the female offender stole the purse from the victim’s handbag.

The thieves are perceived to be of Indian Sub-Continental appearance.

Investigators have released images of a man and woman who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 00 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
