The Bureau of Statistics has released initial findings from its latest census and a 'typical Australian' has been identified.

The first insights of Census-2016, reveal the 'typical' Australian is a 38 year-old Australian-born-female of English ancestry, who is married, with two children, has completed year 12 and is living in a three-bedroom house with two motor vehicles.

However sociologists differ to the statement and suggest that definition of 'typical Australian' given by ABS, doesn't reveal very much about the ordinary Australian experience in everyday life.
