Marina Shazhko, English teacher from Bakhmut, volunteer of the Bakhmut Animal Welfare Society LADA. In an interview with SBS, she spoke about how volunteers save animals during the war in Ukraine.

Marina and her team removed more than a hundred sick and abandoned animals from the combat zone in Bakhmut, providing them with shelter in the Dnepr region.
