அண்மையில் NSW மாநிலத்தில் நடந்த உள்ளூராட்சித் தேர்தலில் 17 தமிழ் வேட்பாளர்கள் போட்டியிட்டார்கள். அதில், Ku-ring-gai தொகுதி Gordon Ward பகுதியில் சுயேட்சை வேட்பாளராகப் போட்டியிட்ட இந்து பாலச்சந்திரன் அரசியலில் இப்போதுதான் ஈடுபட ஆரம்பித்துள்ளார்.
