SBS THAI EXCLUSIVE: The name Alice Springs could easily conjure up images of a tiny town engulfed by a big red desert and not much else in the minds of some. SBS Thai speaks exclusively to Irin Warawitya, whose family’s “dream project” comes in the form of a curiously colourful food van that has sparked numerous conversations and served up punchy Thai dishes since its debut at the red centre, of which community is surprisingly diverse—with 35.8% of its population actually born overseas.
