World leaders are congratulating the newly elected British Prime Minster Rishi Sunak as former Leader Liz Truss departs 10 Downing street. The 42-year-old is hoping to bring stability to a deeply divided country.

Rishi Sunak, who is the youngest British Prime Minister for more than 200 years, and its first leader of colour, became the country's third prime minister in about two months.
Mr Sunak's appointment has been met with optimism for future cooperation by Japan and China.
But the Russian government says there is little sign of improving relations which have only soured further during Moscow's conflict with Ukraine.
