The State Emergency Services say rainfall and thunderstorms are widely expected, saturating already full catchments and leading to flooding across many parts of the state. - And Victoria is bracing for yet another potential flood emergency, with wild weather likely to cause major flooding in the northeast.
Up to 90 milimetres of rain is expected for some areas, with heavy rain and large hailstones also a possibility for the rest of Victoria.

The Australian government has announced a new model of cybersecurity policing, following the Medibank hack. Home Affairs Minister Claire O'Neill has come out to condemn the hack, calling it a privacy breach by "Russian thugs".
