Ah Chee to make AFL return for Suns

Callum Ah Chee will return for Gold Coast's AFL clash with St Kilda in Townsville, replacing injured midfielder Jordan Murdoch.

Gold Coast will recall Callum Ah Chee for Saturday's AFL clash against St Kilda with the 21-year-old proving his fitness after the quad injury that has kept him sidelined for the first half of the season.

Ah Chee hasn't played for the Suns in 2019 but coach Stuart Dew confirmed he'll replace injured midfielder Jordan Murdoch (ankle) for the meeting with the Saints in Townsville.

Fellow midfielder Touk Miller (corked thigh) completed light training duties on Thursday and remains a chance to play, with a final decision on his fitness yet to be made.
